Who We Are

ProFormance was founded in 2003 by Owner Cary Cox in Louisville, KY when his first small personal training business grew into a strong and much larger training community that required a more private and professional space for his clients. Shortly after, Cary hired Bert Kremer to co-own the business and grow it even more. Today, ProFormance serves more than 300 clients in our community and is home to more than a dozen full time trainers that make a living in the personal training profession.

Our Promise to our clients is shaped by our 3 core values as a business: Believe, Love, and Humility.

We Believe in our clients’ abilities to accomplish the goals they set out to achieve. We Believe in our team’s ability to help them do so. When obstacles and challenges arise, we Believe in the glass being half full; not empty.

We Love our clients. We Love our team. We Love in a way that puts the other first instead of self. We will go above and beyond for each other without complaints, hesitation, or half-effort. We Love with a service mindset.

We walk daily with Humility. Humility allows us to listen before we speak and view each day as a day to learn something new. Humility leads us to coach those who need guidance and accept coaching ourselves when necessary. Everyone is able to perform at their highest potential when operating daily with Humility.

“We focus on the things that matter most: Your Experience, Your Health, & Your Results. Our team is passionate about helping you and is completely focused on enhancing your life. Our team of professionals will help you perform at your very best. This is our signature.”

We offer several services for our clients

Personal Training is our flagship service. On top of that, we offer physical therapy, sports performance, massage therapy, nutrition coaching, and golf fitness.

That is not where we stop, however. If there is a market demand for it, we will come to the table and add a service that our clients can benefit from. For example, several years ago, there was a drastic increase in the interest for golf-specific training. 3 of our coaches identified this need and went through a golf-specific training certification course to better serve the golf population. Today, that addition to our list of services has grown our clientele base by 10%. The bottom line is, if you see the need for an additional service and you are willing to take on the responsibility for making it happen, please let us know and we will support you in the process.

Giving Back to our Community

Beyond the services we offer, we embark on making a positive impact on the Louisville community through charitable work.

Giving back is what we do at ProFormance

Every year, we identify a charitable organization that we want to benefit and we volunteer our time and expertise to lift up those who need help the most in our community. This past year, we volunteered our time to work with Big Brothers Big Sisters to host a fun event that taught the principles of healthy lifestyles to kids that need positive role models in their lives.

On top of that, every Christmas season, we collaborate with the Salvation Army to bring presents to more than 100 kids in need so that they can experience the joys of opening gifts around the tree on Christmas morning with their families.

Ready to see how you can help us in our mission and vision?

Let’s get started with how you can be the most successful trainer possible here at ProFormance.
