Breaking Records at the Chicago Marathon

This past Sunday, long time ProFormance client Natalie ran in the Chicago Marathon and set a new record for herself!

26.2 miles in 3 hours and 34 minutes!

To put things into perspective, the average finish time for competitors in 2021 was 4 hours and 42 minutes. Simply put, she CRUSHED it!

Her success was not by chance. Her extraordinary performance was dictated by her relentless consistency with her race prep training as well as her strength training at ProFormance.

Natalie was very meticulous about her marathon training. Each day was planned out ahead of time and designed for a specific outcome: to perform better than she ever has in a marathon.

Nothing was going to get in the way of her training. The level of focus amazed me. She was able to balance her busy schedule practicing law and never miss a step in her training. She deserved every bit of her new race time!
— Coach Alan

We are all proud of her success and hope her efforts inspire others to achieve their goals no matter what obstacles are in the way.

Here is Natalie on her race performance:

An unbelievable feeling. 26.2 miles in 3:34. Snagged a PR and became a 5x marathoner today. An experience made even better by the incredible people pushing themselves and the spectators with the best energy. I think I’ll be on cloud 9 for a while.
