Joe Miday the former head strength and conditioning coach at Louisville football, Western Kentucky, and Marshall.
Beginning his coaching career in the scholastic ranks, Miday started as a baseball coach and strength coach at Stow-Munroe Falls High in Akron, Ohio, while teaching algebra and geometry at Akron East High. After coaching his team to an undefeated season in 2004, Miday accepted a position as the Health Coordinator for the Akron Community Health Center. He oversaw patient nutrition, health education, and daily exercise and rehab programs for more than 8,000 patients yearly.
Miday is a member of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) and has passed the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certification examination.
Born in Canton, Ohio, Miday attended Louisville High. He received his Master’s of Science from the School of Exercise Science and Recreation from Marshall in 2008.
