For Amanda Kinnaird being physically active has simply been a way of life from an early age. As a child she competed in nearly every sport she had the chance to and settled into a love of volleyball throughout high school. Playing and coaching sports, running, dancing, weight lifting, you name it she’s done it! She ran five Kentucky Derby Festival Mini-Marathons and a host of 5K and 10K races. In 2010 she discovered the ZUMBA® Fitness program and soon after became an instructor sharing her passion for dance and fitness with others looking for a fun form of cardio. Her philosophy is that finding activities you actually enjoy, that challenge you, are the keys to sticking with any fitness plan.
Amanda has worked with clients of all ages achieve a wide range of goals by motivating them to take better care of their bodies through smarter nutrition choices and following a well rounded effective fitness program. She has a passion for helping clients discover new and enjoyable ways of living a healthy active lifestyle.
When she’s not working with clients or teaching Zumba® you can find her lifting weights, reading, playing Fantasy Football and most often just enjoying time with her husband, son and their Maltese, Samson.
